It was so nice to see you at family visits, and I am excited to see all your sunny summer faces on Wednesday! I hope you have had some relaxation and recreation in these past couple months, and are coming back refreshed with full stores of oomph for this school year! I am looking forward to learning what new strengths the fifth graders will bring to the Merlins, and witnessing the sixth graders metamorphosize into leaders, mentors, and role models. We will also have a new assistant teacher named Elizabeth; she is excited to spend time with us here in level 3.
This newsletter will be my main method of communicating with you throughout the year. Please check back here every Monday, and take a moment to read about what we are doing here in level 3! You will find information about upcoming activities, deadlines, and Out and Abouts, as well as a secret word that your student can earn bonus points for in classroom economy (the secret word will start next week during the first full week of school).
